Below is a selection of creative projects I have worked on, both personal and client-based:

Package Redesign for Pato Pato (2024)
PatoPato is a Taiwanese brand specializing in home goods for babies and young children.
As part of a larger brand redesign, I collaborated with both the company and designer Kumiko Noda to develop new packaging for their enzyme-based, preservative-free detergent series.
The redesign aimed to create packaging that seamlessly blends into homes, featuring soft earth tones and playful, childlike illustrations—reflecting the product’s gentle, plant-based, and eco-friendly nature.
I was responsible for interpreting (Chinese<>Japanese) and facilitating meetings from prototyping through the final redesign, as well as contributing to the brainstorming process for the design concept.
The packaging design was recognized as a 2024 winner of the Top Awards Asia, an invitation-only award celebrating outstanding packaging design in Asia.
Maekake x Artists Collaboration for Anything (2022)
Anything is a manufacturer of traditional Japanese maekake aprons, woven on 100-year-old shuttle looms.
To expand their international presence and increase global sales, I proposed a series of limited-edition, premium maekake designed in collaboration with three international illustrators: Micke Lindebergh (Australia), WHOSMinG (Taiwan), and Yeaaah! Studio (France).
I led the project’s planning, coordination, and creative direction, as well as its business and promotional strategy.
The pilot project was both a commercial and branding success, demonstrating that maekake could be positioned as premium products through artistic collaboration. It has since become a key part of the company’s ongoing strategy.

Global E-Commerce Site Redesign for Imai Daruma NAYA (2023)
Imai Daruma NAYA is a heritage workshop specializing in Takasaki daruma, a traditional craft with over 150 years of history. To bring their craftsmanship to a global audience, I led the creation of their first international e-commerce site.
I was in charge of business and pricing strategy, art direction, and the transcreation/localization of all site text, ensuring that the brand’s heritage and cultural significance were effectively communicated to an international market.
The result is a platform that elevates Takasaki daruma as an art object while making the craft more accessible to customers worldwide.
E-Commerce Site for Kyoji (2021)
Kyoji is a craft collective made from 10 makers dedicated to bringing Japanese manufacturing to a global audience through high-quality home goods and everyday products.
To establish their international presence, I built their e-commerce site from the ground up, tailoring it for the global market.
I was responsible for the site’s overall structure, copywriting, user experience, and content strategy, ensuring that the collective’s vision and mission were effectively communicated to international customers.
sankaku Vol. 2: Ramen (2023)
The second volume of sankaku explores ramen and the culture surrounding it—tracing its evolution from a dish with Chinese origins to Japan’s quasi-national cuisine and its rise as a global phenomenon.
I led the editorial direction, including conducting all interviews, as well as concept and product development, business strategy, and go-to-market planning.
Alongside the book, we collaborated with Kyushu-based ceramics brand Maruhiro and Singaporean design studio YABAI YABAI to create a limited-edition ramen bowl, reinterpreting the classic ‘Chinese’ ramen bowl with a modern twist. The release also included hand-screened oversized T-shirts and sticker sheets featuring unused design motifs.
The first print run—over 600 copies across both collector’s and paperback editions—sold out, reaching an international audience of design and food enthusiasts. The book was featured in leading Japanese retailers such as Daikanyama T-SITE in Tokyo, renowned international bookstores like New York’s Kitchen Arts & Letters, and media platforms including Tatler Asia and Shopping Design.
In 2024, Volume 2: Ramen Collector’s Edition was awarded Taiwan’s prestigious Golden Pin Design Award Mark.
One of our IG Reels went viral, accumulating over 2.3 million in views:
sankaku Vol. 1: Tokyo (2022)
The inaugural volume of sankaku explored craftsmanship and creative collaborations in Tokyo, showcasing a side of the city where things are being made.
As the first physical product of a self-founded independent media platform—and with no prior experience in publishing or print media—we created and released an art book that resonated with readers seeking niche stories about Japan and thoughtfully curated independent publishing.
I was responsible for all content development, including conducting interviews and writing, as well as product development, overall planning, and business strategy.
Both editions—a 100-unit collector’s edition and a 200-unit paperback—sold out through our own online shop and select stockists around the world.

SentoSensations (2022-present)
Held at 100-year old Tokyo bathhouse “Denkiyu”, SentoSensations is an annual one-day festival that celebrates craft and creative culture.
As one of the co-founders and main organizers, I am in charge of everything from planning, direction, and promotion.
The event features a unique mix of talk sessions with practitioners in creative and academic fields, as well as artists and musicians from Japan and all over Asia such as Lullatone and Kin Leonn (SG).
Heading into its fourth year now, SentoSensations has grown into an indie event that welcomed more than 350 guests in 2024, working together with sponsors such as Danish audio company AIAIAI, Japanese craft beer maker Baird Beer, and Hong Kong craft soda label Mezzanine Makers.
